Our spelling bee contestants went 8 rounds this morning, and a champion and runner-up were named! Congratulations to Aaron Marizcal for winning the spelling bee championship, and to Andrew Ybarra for being named runner-up! Aaron will be entered in the Lea County Spelling Bee in December, and Andrew will be his alternate. We are proud of each student that participated! Special thanks to our moderator, Royce Brown, and our judges, Christie Mullins and Kerri Hale. And a HUGE THANKS to Lisa Jimenez for taking care of every detail, and to Logan Bilbrey for making sure the auditorium was ready to go!
